My Story

My journey in education is deeply personal. Growing up with a younger sibling who has profound Special Educational Needs (SEN), I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of inclusive and tailored education. That experience ignited a lifelong drive to ensure that every child, regardless of their individual challenges, receives the support and guidance they need to truly flourish.

As a husband to an Educational Psychologist and a parent myself, I have a deep appreciation for the profound impact that dedicated, informed educators have on shaping a child’s life. I don’t believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach to learning; I believe in meeting every child exactly where they are.

With 14 years of experience across primary, secondary, and specialist provisions, I have navigated a wide range of educational settings. My roles have included Teaching Assistant, Class Teacher, Assistant SENCO, and SENCO. These positions have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of how to support diverse learners and have sharpened my ability to identify and remove the barriers that prevent children from reaching their potential.

I hold the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination (NASENCO), and my entire professional practice is built upon the principles of inclusive, targeted support. Whether I am working with a child who needs a bit of extra confidence, a student with identified SEN, or a learner who just needs a different approach to thrive, my goal is the same: to empower your child to succeed on their own terms.

My qualifications include:

PgCert NASENCO (National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination)
PGCE with QTS (Primary Education with a Special Educational Needs specialism)
BA Honours degree in Disability Studies and Education Studies
